Founded in the early 1900s in Gemona del Friuli, Pasticceria Ferrarese began as a bakery and artisan workshop thanks to Angelo Ferrarese, who opened the business first on Via Cella and later on Via Bini.
Over the years, the family tradition continued with his son Enrico and Amelia, helping to consolidate the pastry shop's reputation as a point of reference for the Gemona community.
Starting in the 1970s, the business passed into the hands of Lucio, who guided the company through one of the most difficult periods in the region's history: the Friuli earthquake and the subsequent reconstruction. It was during those years that the pastry shop found its current location on Via Trasaghis, continuing to grow and stand out for its quality, passion, and artisanal spirit.
Over time, Pasticceria Ferrarese has received recognition and acclaim beyond the region's borders, even earning the "Made in Friuli" label for its Dolce Friuli, a symbol of a tradition deeply rooted in the region.
Today, the company is led by Filippo, the third generation of the family, who continues to carry on a history spanning over a century with a balance between tradition and innovation.
Every day, Pasticceria Ferrarese is a point of reference for those seeking the pleasure of an authentic breakfast, the aroma of freshly baked bread, and the excellence of entirely artisanal production. From fresh pastries to miniature pastries, from biscuits to holiday specialties like panettone and colomba, every product is born from select ingredients, meticulous craftsmanship, and a profound appreciation for flavor.
Entering Pasticceria Ferrarese means rediscovering the value of things done well: the time dedicated to quality, the passion passed down from generation to generation, and the authentic warmth of a historic Friulian establishment.
